The Esposito was once a bucket of blood in the South End, until Elder Darrow came along. Or, as he likes to describe the process: an alcoholic walks into a bar . . .and buys it.

Shaky in his sobriety, he makes a pact with Alison Somers, the beautiful young jazz singer: if she takes her depression medication, he won't drink. When Alison dives from a third story window and kills herself, he knows it must be murder. Somehow.

Solo Act is their story.
